The Role
This rewarding and exciting role will be key in ensuring that effective, efficient and appropriate care is planned and managed well for people and that this care achieves a positive impact to the recovery of the individual.
Based within Ellesmere port integrated Drug and Alcohol Service, your role will support adults who use our service within the area to achieve their recovery journey goals.
Key role responsibilities include:
• Have experience of working with people who are experiencing substance misuse difficulties or who are vulnerable.
• Conduct strengths-based assessments, evidence-based interventions (brief and structured) and initial risk and recovery planning,
• Deliver harm reduction advice, guidance and education including, needle & syringe exchanges, brief and extended recovery interventions, blood borne virus interventions and overdose prevention advice,
• Support with engagement processes, such as managing contact schedules, to ensure safety and maximise outcomes,
• Support the day-to-day delivery of excellent drug and alcohol services to people and their significant others, including family members friends and carers.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a late evening on a Tuesday.
