We are recruiting a Monitoring Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours
Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time
Location: Ty Graddfa / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Adult Services Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £30,559 - £33,366 and offer access to training and development opportunities.



The role of the Monitoring Officer is to monitor and supervise a team of Domiciliary Care Workers and ensure the care and support they provide within the community is delivered to the highest quality and standards our service endeavours to achieve.



The postholder will be required to utilise all work based knowledge and skills, along with the confidence and ability to guarantee care and support from the H.A.R.T service is received effectively, and in line with the individuals support requirements.



You will work in accordance with a staff rota to ensure compliance with the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and to meet the needs of the service.



For the role, we ask that you have:

A Level 2 qualification in Care or Management with a commitment to achieve a Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
Or a Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma or predecessor qualification (NVQ 3 Health and Social Care) or a qualification at an equivalent level on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales in an accepted ‘care’ or ‘management’ related field.
Knowledge and understanding of the Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016 and its impact on service delivery.
A full UK Category B (Cars) driving license and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend meetings, visit clients.
