Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services within the London Borough of Enfield as CAMHs Service Lead following the internal career development move of the previous post holder.

CAMHs in Enfield is facing an exciting and key point in its development; embracing the development and delivery of high quality evidenced based treatment models and care pathways to help address the needs of children and young people in Enfield in a responsive and timely manner. The team is committed to an inclusive approach to these changes to get the best and most effective help for the most vulnerable children, and young people in Enfield.

The CAMHs Service Lead has overall management responsibility for operational and service matters for community based CAMHs Teams and providing strategic and organisational leadership for the service.



This post is part of the local borough CAMHs Senior Leadership Team and key members of the divisional management group. The post holder will be responsible for the highest standard of care and services for children and young people with mental health problems and their families. The post holder will contribute fully to the operational, management and governance structure of Enfield CAMHS, including borough services, Services for Adolescents and Families (SAFE), Getting Help and More Help ITHRIVE pathways, the service for Children and Adolescents with Neuro disability (SCAN), Mental Health Support Team (MHST) and Community CAMHs.

The multi-disciplinary team consists of highly motivated and skilled professionals with innovative ideas about service development, and the post holder will have an active role in service improvement, strategic development, performance delivery, project management and promoting innovative practice.

Working in partnership with the team managers, support managers, professional leads, external partners, Clinical Lead and Lead Psychiatrists the post holder will support robust leadership of multi-disciplinary clinicians to ensure effective, evidenced based assessment and treatment, equity of access and a culture of continuous quality improvement.
