About the role:
The role involves working with Children with disabilities and supporting them with a short break provision in the form of a group activity, holiday activity or weekend group. This role will also involve the co-ordination of holiday activity programmes throughout the year, with responsibility for, planning, recruiting, ,sourcing venues and the delivery of activities to meet individual need.
The role will involve the supervision of staff and managing short break sessions. This will involve evening and weekend working and will be on a Rota covering the hours over a 4-week period.
About you:We require you to have:
Experience of caring/supporting children with a disability
Experience of leading people and assessing their skills and competence in a paid or voluntary capacity
Experience of working in partnership with external organisations
Knowledge of the effect of disability
