An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Cath Lab Equipment & Stores Manager for Electrophysiology, Intervention and structural in the Cardiology department.

This is a key role within the Division, reporting to both the Cath Lab Manager and the General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient management of Cath lab equipment and stock at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. They will provide leadership to the team, working closely with a variety of departments, including external vendors, materials management, procurement, finance, Cath lab management, clinical engineering, and the multidisciplinary Cath Lab team (MDT).

The post holder will also play a key role in developing and implementing protocols and guidelines related to equipment and stock management, ensuring these are followed to maintain the smooth operation of the Cath labs.

The post holder will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of Cath lab equipment and stock at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital. The post holder will be expected to provide professional leadership within the team, liaising with multiple disciplines including but not limited to external companies, materials management, procurement and finance, Cath lab management, clinical engineering and the Cath lab MDT.

The post holder will be involved in the development of protocols / guidelines where stock and equipment is considered, implementing where necessary to ensure the smooth running of the Cath labs.
