Job Title: Qualified English Tutor

Pay Rate: Starting from £25/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

As a Qualified English Tutor, you will work with students to improve their reading, writing, and analytical skills. Your role involves creating engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's needs, boosting their confidence and enhancing their performance. You may also work with students who require additional support, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring that all learners receive the best possible guidance.

This flexible position offers the opportunity to set your own schedule and work in a supportive environment where your expertise in secondary English can truly make a difference.
- Deliver engaging, one-to-one tuition in secondary English.
- Develop and implement individualised lesson plans to address students' unique needs.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Adapt teaching methods to support different learning styles and abilities, including those with SEN.
- Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that inspires students to excel.
- PGCE in Secondary English and/or QTS.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate, patient approach and a genuine passion for education.
- Ability to tailor lesson plans to accommodate diverse learning needs.
