Crynodeb
APS Produce specialises in the production and supply of top-quality tomatoes and other fresh produce.
We are looking for Seasonal Glasshouse Operatives at our Branfield Nursery at Elloughton, East Riding of Yorkshire. Working in the Glasshouse, your role would be to support the growth and harvest of commercial horticultural crops.
Main duties include:
-Crop work including training of plants, shoot removal and crop thinning.
-Harvesting/Picking to correct specifications.
-Turnaround activities including chopping down of old plants, removal from the glasshouse and setting up ready for new plants.
-Planting new crops.
Skills and experience required:
-basic numeric skills
-good attention to detail
-positive work ethic
-good time keeping.
-previous experience in a Glasshouse environment or working with horticultural crops would be an advantage.
These are full time positions of 39 hours per week.
