An exciting opportunity has arisen within the DSA for a Coordination Assistant Team Leader (Grade 7/B2) in the Defence Environmental Protection Regulator (DEPR). The job will be offered on a permanent basis.
The post holder will be one of two Assistant Team Leaders in DEPR and is responsible for leading two functions - Coordination and Regulation. The Coordination function will cohere findings on environmental protection from across DSA, from within DEPR activities, and by gathering intelligence (incident reports and surveillance data), to enable reporting that is directly focused on delivering an understanding of Defence compliance with environmental protection law and defence policy. The Regulations Function identify where Defence environmental regulation may be required, draft the regulations, consult, publish and maintain. The Coordination and Regulations Functions also lead for DEPR on supporting governance arrangements, both within the team and broader organisation, and development and management of team processes, procedures, and communications.
