Overseas Telephone Assessments – Royal Navy MoD (Band 7 Nurse)
Pertemps Medical has been awarded a partnership with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit Band 7 Triage Nurses for fixed-term contracts conducting overseas telephone assessments.
Job Overview:
The MoD is seeking experienced Band 7 Registered Nurses with extensive triage experience to conduct overseas telephone assessments for over 3,000 candidates who may have the potential to work remotely.
Contract Details:
• Duration: Initial 1-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility of extension.
• Start Date: As soon as compliant
• Salary: Expected range £44,000 - £50,000, (pro rata on hours worked, depending on experience (Band 7 pay scale).
• Location:
o Ideally based in our Milton Keynes office.
o Hybrid or remote working will be considered for the right candidate.
o Potential for a mixed rota schedule.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct overseas telephone assessments – each assessment will take approximately one hour (full training provided).
• Strict adherence to MoD policies and procedures.
• Shift patterns may include day and evening screenings, depending on candidate locations worldwide.
Person Specification:
• High level of professionalism and clinical standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive, can-do attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, CRMs, and Microsoft Teams.
