We’re looking for a dedicated Handyman to help us maintain and improve our facilities, ensuring they remain safe, functional, and welcoming for residents, staff, and visitors alike.
About the Role
As a Handyman, you’ll work across six sites, including three residential care homes, in collaboration with our existing Handyman. This is a full-time position offering variety and the opportunity to make a real difference by keeping our spaces running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general repairs and maintenance across all sites.
Conduct regular safety checks to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and managers.
Assist in maintaining outdoor spaces, including gardens, driveways, and pathways.
Work collaboratively with the existing Handyman to manage workload effectively.
Maintain tools and equipment to ensure efficiency and safety.
Drive between sites as required (mileage reimbursed).
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
A proactive, problem-solving approach and attention to detail.
A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
Flexibility to travel across sites as needed.
