Daily tasks will include the following Providing efficient secretarial support to the Consultant / Specialist Nurse team. Ensuring compliance of the Referral to Treatment (RTT) targets with regular validation of patient pathways. Audio typing from dictation. Communicating with the patients/the general public/Doctors/Nurses/Other professions allied to healthcare. Assisting the team with the booking/cancellation/alteration of clinics, ensuring full utilisation of clinic capacity Diary management Supervising and supporting the APAs within your team to ensure clinic turnaround targets are achieved. Dealing with all telephone enquiries. Inputting/maintaining/updating data to the hospital databases/systems.
