An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trainee or intermediate Building Surveyor/ Architectural Designer to join our team to work with us and our partner firm delivering exceptional services to our clients. If you are looking for a long term career adapting and designing homes for those with serious disabilities and you want to make a difference to people’s lives, then this may be the role for you. The role will include working across various UK regions, liaising with clients, undertaking measured surveys, preparing planning and detailed drawings and specifications, identifying suitable contractors and managing projects through to completion. This being in addition, to working with our partner firm, experienced consultants, legal Deputies, medical / occupational experts and not least suppliers and contractors.
You will require:
1. Minimum HNC/HND or accredited Degree in a construction related discipline, i.e. Building Surveying / Architectural Technologist / Construction related;
2. To have experience in the use of AutoCAD and preferably REVIT, although training in Revit can be provided;
3. To be based in the UK and be suitably located so as to be able to travel to our offices in Preston Lancashire and Cheshire. A driving licence and a car is preferable.
