Trauma and Orthopaedics is delivered across the University College Hospital campus, the Grafton Way Building site and the Institute of Sports Exercise and Health. Grafton Way Building has five orthopaedic theatres and a 32 bedded elective surgical ward, with access to ITU. It functions as the Southern Elective Orthopaedic Centre, where all adult elective orthopaedic inpatients from UCH and Whittington Health are managed as part of the NCL Orthopaedic Network Southern Partnership. All Trauma patients are managed within UCH, within a dedicated ward. The Division works closely with the Institute of Sports Exercise and Health to deliver world leading Sports and Exercise Medicine services.
