We're seeking a Devices focused Solutions Architect to join our Network Services team and play a crucial role in the Emergency Services Network (ESN) programme. This is a unique opportunity to work on a transformative project that will modernise the communication systems of the UK's Emergency Services and Blue Light sectors, helping to enhance public safety and operational efficiency. We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team in a variety of roles, with opportunities for both long-term and project-based positions.

What You'll Do:
- Report to the ESN Onboarding Technical Manager and support Onboarding contract delivery.
- Ensure onboarding services are delivered on time, within budget, and meet ESN programme milestones.
- Focus on seamless integration of Devices into the ESN service.
- Oversee Fixed Vehicle Emergency Services Network Devices and handheld ESN devices.
- Manage Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) systems for device administration.
- Coordinate ESN SIMs, Mobile Data Terminals, and support coverage testing.
- Take responsibility for all architecture and technical aspects of User Organisation Device integration.
- Work with User Services Suppliers to define interface requirements, configuration details, and compliance tests.
- Ensure clear communication on interface and configuration needs with User Organisations.
- Attend governance meetings and collaborate with senior stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Propose solutions and support implementation of agreed resolutions in the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with ESN Leads, User Organisation Leads, and Device System Suppliers to ensure successful integration.
Who You Are:
- Experienced Solutions Architect with expertise in designing and producing Proof of Concepts (POCs) for Devices in Emergency Services Networks (ESN).
- Strong background in technical configuration, build, and testing of handheld ESN devices, mobile data terminals, and vehicle network devices.
- Deep understanding of the ESN ecosystem, Airwave service, and its critical role in Emergency Services operations.
- Proven ability to deliver tailored, innovative solutions that meet programme milestones and high-impact requirements.
- Skilled in interface configuration and testing to ensure seamless integration of devices within the ESN.
- Extensive experience collaborating with User Services Suppliers, device system suppliers, and senior leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical challenges in dynamic environments.
- Exceptional communicator, capable of aligning stakeholders and translating technical solutions for diverse audiences.
