Crynodeb
We are seeking a skilled HGV Scarab Driver to join our client’s team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) equipped with Scarab sweepers to ensure cleanliness and safety across designated areas, including roads, public spaces, and private sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Scarab sweeping vehicles efficiently and safely in compliance with traffic laws and company procedures.
Conduct daily vehicle checks, ensuring the Scarab sweeper is roadworthy and ready for operation.
Perform sweeping and cleaning duties on roads, pavements, car parks, or other designated areas.
Ensure all waste collected is disposed of in line with company and environmental standards.
Report any vehicle faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and logs for operational purposes.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet service deadlines and maintain quality standards.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
HGV License: Valid Class 2 (Category C) license is essential.
Driver CPC: Up-to-date Certificate of Professional Competence.
Experience operating Scarab sweepers or similar equipment is preferred essential.
Excellent awareness of health and safety protocols.
Strong time management and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and early/late shifts.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Experience:
HGV Class 2: 2 years (required)
Scarab Driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (preferred)
Driver CPC (required)
