Are you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in exam administration? New Directions College is looking for a dedicated Exams Officer to join the College in Whitley, Reading.

About The Role:

As our Exams Officer, you will play a key role in the smooth running of exams, ensuring compliance with awarding body regulations.

You will be responsible for coordinating exam timetables, managing entries, liaising with exam boards, and supporting students throughout the process in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and awarding body rules for exams.


As the main point of contact for all matters related to the administration of awarding body examinations and assessments, including appeals, you will represent the centre professionally and efficiently.


Working closely with curriculum teams and key internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure that exam administration processes are strictly adhered to and that all key deadlines are met.



About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident in working with awarding bodies and exam regulations
A strong communicator, able to liaise with students, staff, and external bodies
Experienced in administration, ideally in an education or exams setting
