**Field Service Engineer**

**Location:** Nuneaton
**Salary:** Up to £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

**Hours:** 39 hours per week (Day Shift)
Our client is seeking a **Field Service Engineer** to cover **mechanical and electrical work** at customer premises across the UK. This role involves **servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and installation** of high-precision machinery, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for clients.
**Key Requirements:**
----------------------------------------------------
* **Experienced CNC Field Service Engineer** with a strong engineering background in **Fanuc and Heidenhain Control Systems** .
* Proficient in **hydraulic and pneumatic system fault-finding** .
* Experience in **machinery decommissioning/recommissioning** .
* Ability to perform **full re-alignments of CNC machining centres and CNC lathes** .
* Skilled in **setting up Grid Shift and Backlash Parameters** .
* Capable of **installing and replacing Ball Screws, Spindles, and Dresser Bearings** .
* Experience with **general mechanical repairs and annual service work** .
* Willingness to travel across the UK, with overnight stays if required.

* **General servicing** and **planned maintenance** of CNC machinery.
* Attend **breakdowns** and carry out **fault-finding and repairs** .
* Perform **installations, decommissioning, and recommissioning** of machinery.
* Conduct **full re-alignments** of CNC machining centres and lathes.
* Replace and install **ball screws, spindles, and dresser bearings** .
* Carry out **annual service work** to ensure optimal machine performance.

* **Vertical/Horizontal Lathes**
* **5-Axis Machines**
* **Toshiba / Shibaura, Takumi, Gruppo Parpas, FAT Haco** , among others.
