An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the team for Peripheral Nerve Injury at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital to support the Unit in all administrative tasks and the electronic referral system / ERS / PATHPOINT.

The unit currently has of 5 x PNI consultants & 5 x secretaries & 2 x CNS & 1 x scheduler

We are seeking an experienced administrator who has previous or current knowledge with hospital processes or similar, which includes electronic and tertiary referrals to join the Peripheral Nerve Injury team. You should ideally have: Knowledge of pathpoint / ERS PC knowledgeable Excellent communication skills Able to work effectively in a multi – disciplinary team Use your own initiative when prioritizing your workload Able to lead and maintain high standards of care alongside our trust values. Able to work well under pressure and be able to multi-task in this busy but friendly working environment. Have excellent Customer service skills

Handle all referrals into the unit via ERS / PATHPOINT or tertiary referral and highlighting any urgent referrals to the clinical team Register all patients capturing all patient demographics correctly and accurately and recording the patients RTT pathway in “real time” Request all imaging or other tests required prior to patients outpatient appointments Oversee daily enquiries from outside trusts/GP & internally and daily admin tasks for PNI unit – which includes – prepping Telephone / F2F clinics / Operation notes corrections Work as part of a team within the Unit to ensure a high-quality service is always maintained during office hours, supporting printing & posting from Cscribe The above is not in-depth of other admin tasks that will be undertaken
