Are you looking for part-time flexible work? We are currently recruiting for a Class 1 (CE) DAY and NIGHT trunk drivers for a prestigious company that is based in Penrith.

RATE:
MON - FRI days - £16.50 MON - FRI nights - £18.00 SAT all hours - £22.00 Sun all hours - £24.00 DAYS:
Any shifts between Monday - Sunday - Varied shifts
HOURS:
Shift times vary due to the nature of the role.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This role requires you to drive a large goods vehicle up to 44t, usually an articulated but also freestanding trailers, delivering large goods/packaging to Leicester and Scotland. You may be required to perform complete pre/post operation inspection of the vehicle in accordance with client policy to ensure tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges and controls are in proper working order and report any safety issues. Ensure necessary paperwork is completed You may be required to load/unload goods and products into your vehicle. Applicants Must: Possess a valid CE Entitlement (Class 1) Have a valid CPC and Digi card Candidates must have at least 2 years class 1 driving experience. Minimal paperwork involved however candidates must have a basic understanding of English and numeracy. Benefits include: 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Pension Provision
