Production Operative (Electrical Assembly)
Gosport.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, and 8am to 1pm on Fridays.
You will play an integral role in assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of advanced electrical systems used in defence technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that have real-world impact and contribute to national security.
They are interested in hearing from individuals with experience of:
- cable assembly
- soldering
- crimping
- wiring
- looming
Skills/Qualifications:
- Proven and demonstrable experience of working within electronic assembly / PCB operations, ideally within the defence or aerospace sector
- A good understanding of Health and Safety Management within an engineering / manufacturing environment
- The ability to demonstrate attention to detail and produce a high standard of work, apply a 'right first time' approach
- Ideally qualified to IPC and JSTD soldering standards
- Willingness and desire to learn new skills and invest in professional development
- Excellent communications skills with proven experience of engaging and building relationships within a team
