Job overview Cont. Radiotherapy in Bristol is provided by a professional and friendly multi-disciplinary team who are responsible for delivering a diverse and interesting range of treatment techniques. Bristol Cancer Institute is a specialist cancer centre delivering first class radiotherapy services to the population of the Southwest. The centre has 5 Elekta Versa HD linear accelerators with CBCT, 2 Philips Big Bore CT scanners, Gamma Knife, Varian HDR Brachytherapy and an expanding Molecular Radiotherapy service. We have recently commissioned SGRT (surface guided radiotherapy) system. We are well-known as a centre of clinical excellence and as such we have a proven track record of supporting and mentoring centres within the UK and beyond, providing peer to peer learning in the use of Clarity Ultrasound, Active Breathing Control, SABR, Gamma knife and Molecular radiotherapy.
