A lovely family based in Reading, Berkshire is looking for a Temporary Nanny to help them in looking after their two school-aged children. They seek someone caring and reliable to join them temporarily while their regular nanny is on holiday. The nanny will be calm and patient but have the energy to keep up with the children and take charge of light housekeeping tasks related to them. This will be a temporary role from the 24th of February until the 4th of March 2025, Mondays and Tuesdays over the course of two weeks.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, 18 hours per week
Duties include:
Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
