Key Responsibilities: Accurately code clinical information using the appropriate coding systems (e.g., Read Codes, SNOMED CT). Summarise patient medical letters and records, ensuring all relevant information is captured and recorded. Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure the accuracy and completeness of patient records. Maintain confidentiality and always adhere to data protection regulations. Assist with audits and quality improvement initiatives related to clinical coding and record summarisation. Stay updated with changes in coding standards and practices. File and store records as required Photocopy documentation as required Scan patient related documentation and attach scanned documents to patients healthcare records GP2GP transfers in a timely manner Dealing with GP links and NHS records , Duplicates and confusion queries
