To obtain the optimum information from each individual patient investigation to facilitate speedy and accurate diagnosis of their clinical condition To ensure the safety, care and welfare of each patient (many being seriously ill) throughout their investigation To operate complex nuclear medicine equipment and bone densitometry X-ray equipment with precision and dexterity and in a safe manner To maintain all standards and working practices necessary for the safe handling and use of radioactive materials.
