Essential Criteria have a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other related field. An equivalent of the same in practical experience is also acceptable for the position. have had a minimum of 5 years experience in an organisation wide, senior enterprise architect position, and possess demonstrable experience of setting the architectural priorities across the leadership, management, and provision of an extensive technology estate. be capable of demonstrating exceptionally strong leadership skills, having an ability to influence a cross-functional group towards a unified direction, in the face of ambiguity, and having an ability to influence senior business leadership. They must also be able to inspire trust and confidence in others and have sufficient knowledge and gravitas to provide and champion advice / direction at all organisational levels, both internally and externally. be a proactive problem solver, have advanced critical and strategic thinking skills, have strong attention to detail, have a strong understanding of business processes and the integration of technological processes, be self-motivated and proactive going beyond the call of duty, and have an ability to stay calm in the face of adversity and uncertainty. have demonstrable experience leading both Agile / DevOps and waterfall style delivery methods at an organisational scale. This role is being offered as hybrid working based at any of our Core HQs. We offer great flexible working opportunities at UKHSA and operate using a hybrid working model where business needs allow. This provides us with greater flexibility about how and where we work, to get the best from our workforce. As a hybrid worker, you will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of your contractual working hours (approximately 3 days a week pro rata, (averaged over a month) working at one of UKHSA's core HQs (Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, and London). Our core HQ offices are modern and newly refurbished with excellent city centre transport link and benefit from benefit from co-location with other government departments such as the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC).Relocation expenses are not available.
