JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Affiliate Psychotherapist BASIC QUALIFICATION Post graduate Qualification and professional accreditation REPORTS TO Operational Director ACCOUNTABLE TO Operational Director Job Summary The post holder will be an Accredited Psychotherapist. You will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to meet your clients specific needs, and to work towards their goals. This will be within the parameters of either the contract under which they are referred, or the request of the client. You will complete full clinical assessments, produce suitable reports detailing clients symptoms, the functional impact of their difficulties and their goals. You will derive formulation-informed and idiosyncratic treatment plans in collaboration with clients, and be able to produce high quality reports to reflect this work. Key Responsibilities Provide high quality specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to individuals, couples and children and young people as appropriate Assess individual difficulties, goals and needs Develop idiosyncratic formulations and linked appropriate treatment plans Tailor therapy to fit within the expectations of the individual funding therapy, or the contract within which they are being seen Conduct Mental Health Assessments and Risk Assessments for users and formulate and implement Risk Management plans Electronically record data regarding individual service user contact activity, Diary Events and Service Activity using CMC Patient Management Systems. Maintain up to date accurate electronic clinical records relating to individual service users, in accordance with CMC policies and procedures. Implement outcomes monitoring systems adopted by CMC to demonstrate clinical progress and client satisfaction Collate and electronically record assessment and treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction data in accordance with CMC individual contract requirements. Exercise personal responsibility for the systematic clinical governance of professional practice in your own practice. Adhere to the standards set out in your accrediting body - BABCP, UKCP, BPS, BACP. Be aware of and comply with all CMC policies and procedures Collate and electronically record assessment and outcome measures and patient satisfaction data for service audit and contractual requirements. Produce reports for clients, referrers and relevant health professionals of clinical assessments and treatment plans.
