A Vacancy at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder’s work will be in the NDT North Team in Peterborough, working with population of children suffering from variety of neurodevelopmental condition and mental health conditions. The principle job purpose is to deliver an effective, efficient, and evidence-based child and adolescent psychiatry service in collaboration with multi-disciplinary CAMHS colleagues. Work with and support the multi-disciplinary team.
The post holder’s work will be in the NDT North Team in Peterborough, working with population of children suffering from variety of neurodevelopmental condition and mental health conditions
The clinical role is to provide assessment and treatment to children and young people presenting to CAMHS in CPFT, specifically working in the ADHD sub-team of the NDT. The post-holder will work with or alongside the consultant psychiatrist and other MDT colleagues.
Attend to any safeguarding needs that arise in accordance with local and national best practice standards.

Ensure effective and timely documentation of clinical decision-making and care plans.
Comply with the Trust’s governance policy including participating in supervision, clinical audit, annual appraisal, and re-validation with the General Medical Council.
There is no out-of-hours on-call commitment within the post. On working days there are duty rotas of CAMHS practitioners to cover emergency presentations at Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke Hospitals. The post-holder will from time to time be expected to assist the duty CAMHS practitioner and Duty CAMHS Consultant with the emergency assessment of young people.
Participate in the administrative duties associated with patient care and smooth running of the service including the collection of routine data and outcome monitoring as specified by the Directorate Management Team
