Crynodeb
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative supported internship tutor, to join our dedicated and welcoming team. We’re looking for a personable, motivated professional to work closely on our exciting new Supported Internship programmes. Someone who can proactively support our internship students to develop work-ready skills within our host employers setting and ultimately, to progress into paid employment The role requires a motivated and passionate person who is able to build and maintain excellent links with potential employers, while upskilling students with barriers to learning to prepare them for paid employment.
You will plan differentiated work to meet the needs of individuals and groups promoting progression, continuity, and quality of learning by having clear intentions for our students learning. You should be able to accurately access need, deliver teaching reflective of need and measure progress with a determination to positively impact on the lives of our students. Lessons are carefully planned and take into account the needs, interests and abilities of all students so that learning is more purposeful and engaging.
If you have experience of working effectively with young people with SEND or barriers to learning, and you have the drive and tenacity to establish networks with external stakeholders, we would love to hear from you.
You will have or be working towards a Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent, and recent Outstanding/Good teaching experience with students with special needs
