We are looking for an experienced Groundworker / Excavator Driver to join our team on a construction project in Solihull. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in groundworks and be confident operating an excavator.
Responsibilities:- Operate an excavator safely and efficiently for various groundwork tasks
- Carry out general groundworks, including drainage, foundations, and kerbing
- Excavate and prepare trenches for utilities and services
- Work closely with site teams to complete projects to a high standard
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations
- Valid CPCS or NPORS Excavator Ticket (for 360° machine)
- Experience in general groundworks (e.g., drainage, footings, reinstatement)
- CSCS Card (preferred but not essential)
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Strong teamwork skills and a reliable work ethic
