WearelookingtoappointNon-Training Fixed Term Foundation Year 2 DoctortofillavacancywithinChild and Adolescent Psychiatry. You will be based in community CAMHS at Orchard House and will work covering the hours of 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday.



To see new patients and selected follow up patients under senior supervision.

Junior doctors will participate in the teaching of team members, medical students, nurse students and clinical attachments as required.

To maintain case records, complete discharge summaries, liaise with GP’s and other staff appropriately as required.



To contribute to the provision of high-quality services for people within community CAMHS by continual development of practice in the light of evidence-base, and clinical standards.



Commitment to maintaining a high quality of service to patients by continual development of practice in the light of research evidence and by audit against clinically relevant standards.

In addition, individual staff have a role in suggesting and implementing improvement to services and in exercising professional responsibility for both them and their MDT within an open “no-blame” culture.

A job plan in regard work distribution will be agreed with the Medical Lead and post- holder on appointment.
