The Role
You will be part of a dynamic and exciting Young People’s Service. We are looking for someone who is motivated to ensure those who use our services achieve the best possible outcomes.
You will engage children and young people in a range of interventions, utilising a family centred approach, empowering them to reduce risk, increase resilience and lead a safe, happy and healthy life.
The Service
The Young Peoples Service is part of the broader Via treatment network in Redbridge, dedicated to supporting young people and promoting recovery for individuals impacted by substance misuse. This includes those directly affected by substance misuse, those affected by someone else’s substance use, and the local community, all aimed at enhancing overall health and wellbeing.
We provide a comprehensive range of services, including pharmacological, psychosocial, recovery-orientated, health focused and inpatient interventions. These services are designed to assist young people and their families who wish to receive advice, assessment, and treatment for drug and/or alcohol-related needs.
The usual hours of service are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
Location
London Borough of Redbridge
The role is predominantly based interchangeably between Barkingside and Ilford Chambers, and will involve travel to schools and satellites within the borough, and to other Via locations as needed.

Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women and people of colour are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Via we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
