I am looking for a dedicated and experienced Support Manager to oversee the operations of a group of care homes in the East of England.
In this role you will:
• Be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, implementing policies and procedures
• Provide effective leadership and management, including the appropriate people are recruited for the key roles and ensure they are trained to complete their role
• Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
• Monitor and manage the financial and business performance of the homes, including budgeting, financial reporting, and business development
• Ensure that the homes are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. Implement action plans to maintain compliance and manage risks.
• Monitor and evaluate care delivery processes and outcomes, and implement improvements as needed
• Ensure that the care homes provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for residents
• Implement performance monitoring and reporting systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes
For this great role you will need:
• NMC registration as a Nurse with relevant post-registration experience
• Proven experience in managing a care home or similar healthcare setting
• Strong knowledge of financial management, compliance, and regulatory requirements in the care home industry
• Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Knowledge of best practices in quality care and environment for elderly residents
• The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
