Lost Art Limited provides historic garden furnishings, skills and services. From individual items to full park restoration and urban regeneration projects, the Lost Art commitment to the traditional arts and skills of British Craftsmen means that we can provide high quality and historically authentic work in metal, wood and cast iron.
We currently have a vacancy for a Labourer/General Workshop Operative to join our small friendly team based at our workshop in Bispham, Mawdesley, Nr Rufford. Working directly to assist the Workshop Manager carrying out general labouring duties across both workshop sites with the possibility to lead to onsite work and develop skills and qualifications as industry appropriate. Working with a range of materials from wood, cast iron and metals on a large number of heritage projects we undertake throughout the UK.
You will need to bring a flexible and visionary approach to the role. The key individual will need to also be organised, methodical have excellent communication skills, and be able to work alone meeting targets set by the team.
Hours & Days of work: Monday – Friday 8am start 5pm finish with some flexibility
Pension: Employer matched contribution
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
Contract: Permanent
Salary: Meets national minimum wage
Must hold a full valid driver’s license and be a car owner due to location or have other means of transport available (no public transport in the area)
