An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the special school nursing team at swiss cottage school as a special school nursing assistant.

Swiss Cottage Special Needs School offers education to children aged 2 – 19 years within the London Borough of Camden who have both complex learning difficulties, emotional, behavioural and communication difficulties. Many of the children who attend also have complex medical needs.

The post holder will work as a member of the school health team providing care and support at school to children with complex needs. The Special School Health team is integrated with the wider Community Children’s Nursing (CCN) team based at the Royal Free Hospital, who provides care to children in their homes and the community.





The post holder must be able to work on his/ her own initiative. Maintaining a safe environment and provide children their families and carers with a supportive services

Our team is small but very friendly and supportive, the specials school nursing team comprises of 1 B3 HCA, 1 B5 SSN and 1 B6 SSN, however they are also part of the wider Community Nursing Team based at RFH and are managed by the same line manager.
