Adferiad Recovery delivers a flexible and coordinated response to the exceptional circumstances faced by people with co-occurring mental health and substance use conditions and related issues. Vulnerable people facing complex life challenges need consistent and seamless support to ensure they remain engaged with vital health and wellbeing services – and to prevent them becoming disenfranchised and isolated.

Hours: 37.5 hours

Salary: £23,595.00

Based at: Flintshire

Role Purpose: Adferiad provides a flexible, person-centred, solution focused floating support service across the County of Flintshire; focusing on individuals who have history of repeated homelessness, and various complex needs, such as mental health, substance use, and criminal offending. The emphasis of the project is to apply Housing First Principles in delivering a positive risk-taking, assertive approach to support individuals to achieve increasing levels of independence and maximise their potential of sustaining long-term tenancies.

This service is available between 08:00 am to 20:00 pm - Mon to Fri with a flexible on-call provision being provided over weekends, the specific hours of support will be determined by each client needs. Staff will be expected to be flexible and work across the hours and days of service delivery and will be part of a rota of on-call service for out of hours provision where necessary.


Under the direction of the Senior Service Manager, you will work as part of the team and lone work to support and improve the lives of those individuals by providing high quality and effective housing related support service. You will utilise person centred and strengths-based approaches to setting goals, reviewing and developing support plans that best meets the individual’s needs.
