Crynodeb
The Recruitment Co are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work for an established, growing business in the Preston area.
Working hours are 8:00am - 16:30pm Monday - Thursday and 8:00am - 14:00pm on Friday.
This is a full time position, temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
Candidates MUST have previous experience working in dispatch.
Job duties include:
- Ensure customer orders are accurately picked ready for dispatch in an organised and timely fashion.
- Keeping the picking area tidy, organised and in good order.
- Securely pack items and clearly identify boxes/ pallets ready for transportation.
- Ensure paperwork is completed and relevant information is recorded, and all necessary records and quality data are maintained.
- To ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management to include space
- allocation, stock rotation and transfer.
- Maintain accurate cycle counts on a continuous rolling basis, investigating discrepancies.
- Ensuring raw materials, WIP and finished products are correctly located in the appropriate location bays in line with the stock control systems.
