CENTRE ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION
Your job will be to talk with our customers and to help them fall in love with us. You will do that by helping and serving them during their visit, making their experience more memorable, helping to provide a vibrant and engaging environment for all our guests, and ensuring that every guest experiences the joy and excitement that, we stand for.
As the Centre Assistant your role is critical in creating and delivering memorable experiences that align with our company’s values of teamwork, friendliness, engagement, trustworthiness, hard work, and caring.
Our ideal candidate is someone who not only fits into this culture but is also excited to contribute to it.
The Perfect Candidate Will Tick the Boxes Below:
• You will be a proper people person with great empathy… (this is the most important bit!)
• Hospitality is something you enjoy and take pride in.
• You’ll have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, working in customer service, retail, leisure or hospitality.
• You’ll have a track record of helping people – and be able to prove it.
• You’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• You’ll be confident on the phone.
• You’ll enjoy engaging with people, both young and old.
• You’ll need to be an energetic individual who thrives in a playful and fast-paced setting.
• You’ll need to be able to multi-task in a high-energy environment.
• You’ll be reliable, hard-working and all the usual stuff…
• You’ll be (almost) as fun as the rest of us.
• You’ll actually enjoy cleaning and love to get stuck in.
• You’ll want to care about your job and the impact it has.
• PLUS: you WON’T be a complete technophobe(!)
• If you know anything about a system called KOBAS, that would be great.
This role is based at our venue in Westhoughton, Bolton.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guest Interaction: Warmly greet guests with a smile, answer questions, and ensure a welcoming environment.
• Sales Revenue: Help the Business to achieve its targets.
• Event Assistance: Support the coordination and execution of parties and events, ensuring they run smoothly and align with funhouse standards.
• Facility Maintenance: Oversee the cleanliness and organisation of the play areas, party rooms, and common spaces.
• Safety Oversight: Monitor activities to ensure the safety of all guests, enforcing rules and regulations.
• Administrative Support: Assist with bookings, payments, and other administrative tasks as needed.
