This is a Fixed Term position until 31st March 2026 working full-time.
Applications are sought for people with skills and experience in the interrogation of routinely collected data, preferably in health or social care, and a background in health research, or related informatics skills to work on research in the e-records research field.
We are looking for a Research Analyst to join our inclusive team in the Disease Registers Group (DRG) at Swansea University. The post holder will work closely with a variety of with the Senior Research Analyst and many of the organisations/groups that make up the DRG, as well as a variety of others we collaborate regularly with both nationally and internationally, including (but not limited to):
• Major charities.
• Other third sector agencies
• NHS Trusts, or other healthcare or social care organisations from across the UK.
• National and International partners in academia, healthcare, government, industry etc.
Applicants should have knowledge of data linkage and the investigation and evaluation of large complex data (preferably in health or social care), as well as data analysis and visualisation skills, familiarity with REDCap is also desirable.
