Crynodeb
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent Principal Psychologist within NWPS. The job holder will be a member of the senior leadership team and contribute to business decision making for psychology services across the North West region. The current job role involves oversight of psychological services across three open prisons in the North West of England (HMP Haverigg, HMP Thorn Cross and HMP Kirkham) as well as responsibility for the theme of Safety across NWPS. The role is subject to review in line with workforce planning and wider discussion. Although this is a senior leadership role, the job holder is encouraged to develop their own areas of interest (e.g. clinical work, research etc.). It is expected that the postholder will make regular prison visits and therefore willingness to travel to all North West prisons is essential.
