McGinley are seeking a reliable and organised Storeman to join our team on a busy housing development construction site. The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the site by managing materials, tools, and equipment effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries of materials and equipment.
- Maintaining an organised and tidy site store.
- Monitoring stock levels and ordering materials as required.
- Conducting regular inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
- Liaising with site management, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding material needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Storeman on a construction site is essential.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of building materials and site equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A valid CSCS card.
- Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
