Summary

McGinley are seeking a reliable and organised Storeman to join our team on a busy housing development construction site. The role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the site by managing materials, tools, and equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries of materials and equipment.
  • Maintaining an organised and tidy site store.
  • Monitoring stock levels and ordering materials as required.
  • Conducting regular inventory checks to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Liaising with site management, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding material needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Storeman on a construction site is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of building materials and site equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential).
