Summary
POSITION AVAILABLE JULY-SEPTEMBER PICKING SEASON. UK Applicants only - must have UK passport, settled or pre-settled status to apply.
Fruit picking – full training will be offered by the Field Manager, no experience required. Two workers share a picking trolley and are put in small teams in the rows of blueberries. However, everyone is rewarded for their own work based on quality and quantity of pick.
All fruit pickers may be asked to work in the packhouse from time to time
Other field duties may include:
o Weeding
o Pruning
o Venting tunnels
o Removing tunnel plastic after fruit has been picked
We work 6 days a week, usually starting at 7am (earlier if hot) and working eight or nine hour days. The base pay is £12.21 per hour, with bonuses paid based on performance.
