Overview
We are recruiting role of Delivery Driver to join our dedicated team, where punctuality & attendance are key values in the company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers, which mostly involves ‘business to business’ service of palletised goods.
You will be loaded each afternoon for the following days run, using forklift truck & unload using pump truck, tail lift, sack truck & customer forklift.
Duties
• Delivering in and around North London and Home Counties
• Average distance per day approx. 50 miles
• Average number of drops per day approx. 8-10
• Maintaining the driving standards & competencies of Silver FORS accredited company.
Requirements
• Experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Valid UK driving licence with a clean driving record
• C1 driver’s license
• Valid Tachograph
• Up to date CPC with at least a year before expiry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay from £12.21 up to £12.89 per hour
Additional pay:
• Monthly attendance bonus (after successful probation)
