The advertised post is for a Locum consultant interventional neuroradiologist.
(INR) to join the existing team of 7 neurointerventional radiologists supporting the 24-7 neuroradiology interventional service at Barts Health.
The post will be based at St. Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Hospital. The post holder will specialise in neuroradiology both diagnostic and neuro-intervention. This is a substantive post to support the existing 24/7 Thrombectomy service at Barts Health NHS Trust.
Our vision will be to have 8 neuro interventional radiologists on a 1 in 8 on-call Rota. We have been providing a 24/7 service since November 2020. The successful applicant should have completed subspecialist training in both diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology and will join the team of 18 neuroradiologists including 6 neuro-interventional radiologists currently in post and 5 head and neck radiologists who provide a comprehensive neuroimaging service to the Trust.

This post is advertised to attract individuals with the capability to assist in developing interventional neuroradiology services across the Northeast London network. They will need to work with clinicians across Northeast London and beyond to safeguard and develop appropriate referral flows. They will have completed subspecialist training in diagnostic and neuro-interventional radiology
