Based at our HQ in Leicester LE3 1UT with hybrid working

RAFATRAD Ltd is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of the RAF Association, and all profits are covenanted back to the charity where we have a clear objective: to help sustain a resilient and empowered RAF community, including serving personnel, RAF veterans and their families. Through our sector leading services, we offer friendship to the isolated and lonely, sheltered housing for those who want to remain proudly independent and childcare to serving personnel on RAF stations. We work together to make sure no one is ever left behind.
The Ecommerce Officer is responsible for monitoring the daily operations of our online sales platforms by designing, building and implementing ad campaigns across a variety of multi-channel platforms to drive audience engagement. You will monitor product lifecycles to maximise sales through our existing website and third party marketplaces, social media, digital and traditional marketing channels. With the ability to identify market trends, you will play a key role in planning and implementing digital marketing, promotional activity and creating new product ranges.
Responsibilities include;
Publish editorial, creative and video content via multi-channel marketing platforms
Create impactful content using principles of design and copywriting for online mediums
Deliver online marketplace ad campaigns which drive sustainable growth in sales
Increase income from third party marketplaces and implement new sales channels to our online portfolio
Create, edit and innovate our Shopify website products, collection pages and menus
Organise and optimise product categories to improve user navigation and searchability
Write and update product descriptions to ensure they are accurate, engaging, and SEO-friendly
Use of Shopify/Google Analytics and KPIs to discern key areas for growth and looking at current trends
Optimise the website user experience to improve sale conversions that meet business objectives
Regularly upload new products to RAFATRAD’s website and other e-commerce channels (including but not limited to eBay and Amazon)

You will need to have a previous ecommerce experience along with a strong background with Shopify and marketplace platforms (including but not limited to ebay and Amazon).You will be familiar with Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Conversion Rate Optimisation and Search Engine Optimisation. A creative individual will thrive in writing engaging product descriptions and creating marketplace ads. An up-to-date knowledge of current legislation is integral to the role (advertising, media and intellectual property law etc). Overall, our ideal candidate will be highly driven to increase sales to support the amazing charitable work of the RAF Association. We can offer flexible working to fit around caring/other responsibilities which can be discussed at interview.
