Crynodeb
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK
Job Purpose: To efficiently and safely harvest crops to Valefresco and customer specifications. Understand and follow Health and Safety guidelines, food safety, hygiene and company policies.
ESSENTIAL TASKS
• Planting salad/vegetable crops
• Harvesting salad/vegetable crops
• Carry out ongoing crop maintenance and crop husbandry work
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand, clarify and follow supervisory instructions and directions in accordance with Valefresco policies and procedures
• Ensure when cutting/picking crop it meets Valefresco specifications and standards
• Cleaning and sanitising of work utensils and equipment on a daily basis or as required
• Mandatory PPE must be worn as issued in the field at ALL times
• Operate all machinery in accordance with correct procedures and instructions
• Work with team to ensure product orders are delivered on time and to customer requirements
• Maintain a high level of hygiene at ALL times
