Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Waste Collection Operative to join our team. The role involves performing operational duties in all weather conditions, operating mechanical bin lifting machinery, and ensuring the maintenance and security of vehicles and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physically and mentally demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- Operate mechanical bin lifting machinery daily, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain and secure vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to service improvement requests politely and courteously.
- Report issues to the driver, supervisor, or manager as needed.
- Work under the guidance of the driver and supervisor, using personal initiative to deliver services professionally.
- Adhere to agreed schedules and standards, and respond positively to new initiatives.
