Crynodeb
The job role involves working as an autonomous Musculoskeletal Advanced Podiatry Practitioner to meet the 4 pillars of advanced clinical practice. The role involves electronic, remote or face-to-face triage and assessment of Musculoskeletal patients. You will have access to investigations such as X-Ray, MRI, Ultrasound or CT scanning and blood tests. You may undertake therapeutic joint or soft tissue injection and non-medical prescribing if suitably qualified. Timely referrals and communication letters are required. The role involves offering leadership and education to the MSK, podiatry and wider MDT's. You will be expected to undertake and have involvement in research and maintain excellent evidence based skills and knowledge.
