Wellbeing Connect Services is a mental health charity that provides specialist support and advocacy, therapeutic support, information, and advice to children, young people, families, and individuals experiencing mental health issues. We are based at 215 Fore Street, Edmonton. N18 2TZ
The Youth Advisory Board was created to empower young people to become Young Ambassadors / Champions in Health and Social Care.
This is a fantastic volunteer opportunity for young individuals who are passionate about advocating for youth issues and contributing to positive change. As a member, you will engage with peers in decision-making processes, share your ideas, and collaborate on projects that will impact the lives of young people.
This role will help you develop essential skills and experience for your future careers, boost your CVs and, build your leadership, resilience, confidence, and good communication skills necessary to influence public health and social care policies.
Members will receive training in Leadership in Health and Social Care by Senior members of Staff.
