As a Security Audit Coordinating Officer, you will be instrumental in informing the organisation about key threats facing the Army, helping shape the intelligence and threat led approach to enhancing Counterintelligence and Protective Security capability development and implementation, while concurrently supporting 2MI Bn in conduction of security activities in the UK & abroad.
The role is critical in monitoring, detecting, analysing, and responding to security incidents and threats with precision. Your expertise in security technologies, practice, and procedures combined with incident response will be pivotal in protecting our assets and people.
Responsibilities will include:
Coordination and management of security assurance audits for Army establishments including tasking, resource allocation and scheduling to support prioritisation
Collect relevant and accurate data by managing and developing digital analytics instrumentation - working with developers
Provide recommendations for action based on data in easily understandable and engaging ways such as show and tells, blog posts, dashboards and other data visualisation methods
Contribute to the performance analysis community, assisting with training and knowledge transfer of digital analysis principles to wider audiences and expanding your own and others’ data analysis skills
Maintain positive working relationships within 2 MI Bn, Field Army Troops Understand Group, other services, and relevant supporting UK civilian agencies
Be prepared to conduct Protective Security Audits and produce reports in line with Army Policy
Be prepared to travel extensively with overnight stays
Conduct other security tasks as directed by your Line Manager
